Professors Gregory Sidak and David Teece have jointly filed comments with the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission in which they recommend that the antitrust agencies revise the Horizontal Merger Guidelines to incorporate considerations of dynamic competition to a greater extent. The Coase Foundation

The Coase Foundation for Law & Economics is a private, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to advancing understanding of how legal policies affect firms and markets. Named by permission of Nobel laureate Ronald H. Coase to honor his seminal scholarship, the Foundation was created with the advice and collaboration of leading scholars in law and economics. The Coase Foundation focuses on the microeconomic analysis of government policy that concerns the modern corporation.

This mission encompasses policy issues of applied industrial organization and corporate finance, such as antitrust, industry-specific regulation, intellectual property, corporate governance, executive compensation, and securities regulation. Although physically located in Washington, D.C., the Coase Foundation addresses questions of law and economics that transcend national borders.
